He subsequently collaborated with Ranjan and Bharucha in two more buddy films, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), both of which were commercially successful but received criticism for their misogynistic themes.

The latter proved to be a breakthrough for Aaryan, and he followed it by starring in the 2019 romantic comedies Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

In addition to his acting career, Karthik has advertised for many brands and products and has hosted two awards ceremonies.

Life and Career

Early life and early career (1990-2014)

He is the DY of New Mumbai. Patil holds an engineering degree in biotechnology from the College of Engineering but wanted to pursue a career in film. He says he used to leave his classes and travel two hours to attend auditions.

While in university, Karthik started his modeling career and after failing in film auditions for three years, he took an acting course from the Creating Characters Institute. He told his parents about his desire to become an actor only after signing his first film.

During his third year of college, Aryan started his film career with Love Ranjan's Pyar Ka Panchunama (2011). He was accompanied by Dwaynendu Sharma, Rao S. Bakhirta, and Nusrat Bharucha in the lead roles. She made a casting call for the film on Facebook and reserved the role after auditioning for six months. with very little financial resources at the time, he lived in an apartment with 12 other aspiring actors and made money by cooking for them.

In the loves of postmortem, his character was shot for four minutes, which at that time was for a Hindi film longest shots. He Outlook Namrata Joshi had criticized the film for portraying each woman's character as "hard bitter", but the Aryan trio was praised. The film emerged as a sleeper hit and was nominated for a Producer Guild Film Award for Best Male Debut.

After the release of Pyar Ka Panchunama, he completed his engineering degree at the insistence of his mother. Her next film was released two years later and she once again worked with Ranjan and Bharucha in the romance film Akash Vani (2013). Sudhish Kamath of The Hindu praised the film and praised the duo, saying, "You can tell how much they are in love, even when they have no lines".

Karthik Sudhir Chaudhary, a cinematographer from previous films, showed his work to Subhash Ghai, who was impressed by Karthik and chose him for his film Kanchi: The Unbreakable (2014). It is a drama about a woman seeking justice, whose husband has been assassinated by politicians, in which Karthik plays the protagonist's lover.

Despite the small role, Karthik agreed to work with Ghai. NDTT's Sable Chatterjee disliked the film but wrote that Karthik "demonstrates a strong screen presence and the qualities needed to be a mainstream Bollywood lover boy". Both Akashwani and Kanchi: The Unbreakable did not do well, raising questions about Karthik's career prospects.

Love postmortem 2 (2015-present)

In 2015, Karthik starred in Ranjan's comedy sequel Pyar Ka Panchunama 2, which also had a few other actors including Bharucha in the first film and actors Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh were added. In it, he gave another long, seven-minute shot. The Guardian's Mike McCahill criticized the underestimation of female roles in the film but considered Karthik and Bharuch's main attraction. As he loved working in comedy, Karthik starred opposite Paresh Rawal and Kriti Kharbanda in the next film Guest in London (2017), which is about a young couple being teased by an unknown guest. Some scenes between Paresh Rawal and him were improved on the set.

Hindustan Times Rohit Vats criticized the film's reliance on comedy and wrote that "Karthik looks good, dances well, jokes well but eventually he had to play the role of Rawal's opponent." The film did not do well commercially.

Karthik had a huge success in 2018 when he worked with Ranjan and Bharucha for the fourth time in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweetie, in which he met Sunny Singh again. It tells the story of Sonu (Karthik) who is plotting to separate his best friend (Sunny Singh) from his fiance (e (Bharucha) because Sonu considers him a money-eating woman. The film was a commercial success.

She worked in Luka Chuppi (2019), which deals with issues like live-in relationships in a small town in India. The film was shot in his hometown of Gwalior and starred Kriti Sanon in the lead role. The film was a commercial success, grossing 25 1.25 billion.
