Kartik Aryan
Kartik Aryan is an Indian actor who has acted in Hindi films. He was born and raised in Gwalior and moved to New Mumbai to pursue an engineering degree in biotechnology. She tried to start a career in modeling and film simultaneously.
After struggling for three years, Aryan started his film career in 2011 with Pyar Ka Panchunama. The film was about the thrilling plight of three youngsters, directed by Love Ranjan and co-starring Nusrat Bharucha.

Aaryan went on to play the romantic interest of the lead female characters in Akaash Vani (2013) and Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014), but these films failed to propel his career forward. He subsequently collaborated with Ranjan and Bharucha in two more buddy films, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), both of which were commercially successful but received criticism for their misogynistic themes.
The latter proved to be a breakthrough for Aaryan, and he followed it by starring in the 2019 romantic comedies Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
In addition to his acting career, Karthik has advertised for many brands and products and has hosted two awards ceremonies.
Life and Career
Early life and early career (1990-2014)
Kartik Tewari (later Aryan) was born on 22 November 1990 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Her parents are doctors; Her father is a pediatrician, and her mother, Mala, is a gynecologist. He is the DY of New Mumbai. Patil holds an engineering degree in biotechnology from the College of Engineering but wanted to pursue a career in film. He says he used to leave his classes and travel two hours to attend auditions.
While in university, Karthik started his modeling career and after failing in film auditions for three years, he took an acting course from the Creating Characters Institute. He told his parents about his desire to become an actor only after signing his first film.
During his third year of college, Aryan started his film career with Love Ranjan's Pyar Ka Panchunama (2011). He was accompanied by Dwaynendu Sharma, Rao S. Bakhirta, and Nusrat Bharucha in the lead roles. She made a casting call for the film on Facebook and reserved the role after auditioning for six months. with very little financial resources at the time, he lived in an apartment with 12 other aspiring actors and made money by cooking for them.
In the loves of postmortem, his character was shot for four minutes, which at that time was for a Hindi film longest shots. He Outlook Namrata Joshi had criticized the film for portraying each woman's character as "hard bitter", but the Aryan trio was praised. The film emerged as a sleeper hit and was nominated for a Producer Guild Film Award for Best Male Debut.
After the release of Pyar Ka Panchunama, he completed his engineering degree at the insistence of his mother. Her next film was released two years later and she once again worked with Ranjan and Bharucha in the romance film Akash Vani (2013). Sudhish Kamath of The Hindu praised the film and praised the duo, saying, "You can tell how much they are in love, even when they have no lines".
Karthik Sudhir Chaudhary, a cinematographer from previous films, showed his work to Subhash Ghai, who was impressed by Karthik and chose him for his film Kanchi: The Unbreakable (2014). It is a drama about a woman seeking justice, whose husband has been assassinated by politicians, in which Karthik plays the protagonist's lover.
Despite the small role, Karthik agreed to work with Ghai. NDTT's Sable Chatterjee disliked the film but wrote that Karthik "demonstrates a strong screen presence and the qualities needed to be a mainstream Bollywood lover boy". Both Akashwani and Kanchi: The Unbreakable did not do well, raising questions about Karthik's career prospects.
Love postmortem 2 (2015-present)
In 2015, Karthik starred in Ranjan's comedy sequel Pyar Ka Panchunama 2, which also had a few other actors including Bharucha in the first film and actors Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh were added. In it, he gave another long, seven-minute shot. The Guardian's Mike McCahill criticized the underestimation of female roles in the film but considered Karthik and Bharuch's main attraction. When asked about the sexist films, Karthik said that as a proponent of gender equality, his character did not reflect his personal beliefs. for her performance, Arya won the Stardust Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role.
The following year, Karthik played a young Muslim boy in Tanuja Chandra's short film Silvat who falls in love with an elderly woman. It was created as part of the Zill for Unity to bridge the cultural barrier between India and Pakistan. As he loved working in comedy, Karthik starred opposite Paresh Rawal and Kriti Kharbanda in the next film Guest in London (2017), which is about a young couple being teased by an unknown guest. Some scenes between Paresh Rawal and him were improved on the set.
Hindustan Times Rohit Vats criticized the film's reliance on comedy and wrote that "Karthik looks good, dances well, jokes well but eventually he had to play the role of Rawal's opponent." The film did not do well commercially.
Karthik had a huge success in 2018 when he worked with Ranjan and Bharucha for the fourth time in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweetie, in which he met Sunny Singh again. It tells the story of Sonu (Karthik) who is plotting to separate his best friend (Sunny Singh) from his fiance (e (Bharucha) because Sonu considers him a money-eating woman. The film was a commercial success.
Karthik believed that the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety allowed him to choose from a variety of roles. She worked in Luka Chuppi (2019), which deals with issues like live-in relationships in a small town in India. The film was shot in his hometown of Gwalior and starred Kriti Sanon in the lead role. The film was a commercial success, grossing 25 1.25 billion.
As of June 2019, Karthik has four projects. He will be seen with Bhoomi Padenekar and Ananya Pandey in the remake of the 1978 film ' Pati Patni Aur Woh', and with Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali's untitled drama. He will star opposite Janvi Kapoor in the sequel to the 2008 comedy Dostana and Jacqueline Fernandez in the remake of the 2016 Kannada film Kirk Party.
Other Work
Apart from acting in films, Karthik promotes many brands and products, including sportswear brand Humwell International, Cream Emmy Fair & Handsome, and Body Spray Envi 1000. She co-hosted the 2018 IFA Awards with Ayushman Khurana and the 2019 Zee Cine Awards with Vicky Kaushal.
In 2016, Karthik became a member of the All-Star Football Club, which organizes football matches for charity. He participated in a tournament in New Delhi next year with Ranbir Kapoor and many other celebrities. Karthik was selected to play in the club's next tournament, held in Singapore in 2018 but had to leave due to an injury to his thumb during practice.
In 2018, Karthik raised awareness about plastic pollution during World Environment Day. The following year, he was appointed by the Election Commission of India to create voter awareness in his home state of Madhya Pradesh.
