Shivam Dubey

Shivam Dubey (born 26 June 1993) is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Mumbai. 

He is an all-rounder who bats with his left hand and bowls at a medium-fast pace with his right hand. He made his international debut in the Indian cricket team was in November of 2019. 

On 6 December 2019, he scored his first T20I half-century against the West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram. 

Early life 

Dubey was born on 26 June 1993 in Mumbai. He quit cricket at the age of 14 due to being overweight and could not afford medical treatment due to financial difficulties. He returned to cricket at the age of 19 and was soon selected for the Mumbai Under-23 team. 

Domestic career 

He made his Twenty20 cricket debut for the Mumbai cricket team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on January 18, 2015-16. He made his List A cricket debut for Mumbai in the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2016. 

7 December 017, Mumbai 201718 Ranji Trophy tournament first-class debut. He became the first owner of 5 wickets in first-class cricket in the first innings. He scored his first century in first-class cricket against the Railway cricket team for Mumbai on 2 November 2018 in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy. 

In the next match, Karnataka gained another 5 wickets with 6 wickets for 54 runs. 

On 16 December 2017, the Baroda cricket team played a Ranji Trophy match contrast, Dubey set a record of turning six balls in a row in the same over. Prior to that, he had a record of 5 sixes off 5 balls in an over against Praveen Tamb in the T20 Mumbai League competition in March of the same year, where he was named the best player of the tournament. He was Mumbai's top wicket-taker with 23 wickets in eight matches in the 2016 Ranji Trophy. 

In December 2016, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought players for the 2019 Indian Premier League competition at auction.

International career  

In October 2019, Dubey was selected in India's Twenty20 International squad against Bangladesh. 

On November 3, 2019, On the contrary, T 0 I cricket debut. Later in the same month touring the West Indies against India's one-day international (ODI) squad is listed. 

Education and Training 

Shivam Dubey completed his early education at Hansraj Morarji Public School, Mumbai. After this, he did his graduation from Rizvi College, Mumbai. His father got Shivam admitted to the Chandrakant Pandit Cricket Academy, Andheri West, Mumbai for cricket coaching. Where he received training in cricket under Satish Samant.
