Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in Ranchi Indian cricketer . Under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India won the 2006 ICC World Twenty20 , the 2006-07 CB Series, the 2006 Border-Gavaskar Trophy , the 2010 2-0 series against Australia and the 2011 Cricket World Cup Has won.
Under his captaincy, India rose to number one in the Test rankings. His record in Test and ODI cricket is still the best among Indian captains. He won the ICC Champions Trophy in England in 2013, as well as being the first captain in the world to win all ICC tournaments. He is captaining Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2010 and Champions League . Under his leadership, India won their first ODI series in Sri Lanka and New Zealand , and India beat Australia in a Test twenty years later.
Dhoni has received multiple honors and awards. He was named ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2007 and 2009 . He is the first Indian to receive this award. He has also received India's highest sports honor, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, and the country's fourth highest civilian honor, the Padma Shri .
In January 2010, Dhoni was the highest-ranked player in ODI cricket rankings . Wisden's dream Test XI , known as the Bible of Cricket, was named captain in 2009 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named one of the top 10 richest cricketers in the world by Forbes Magazine .
In 2009, Dhoni was named captain of the ICC World Test and ICC ODI team. In the final match of the 2011 Cricket World Cup, he batted brilliantly against Sri Lanka with 91 off just 69 balls and the Indian team became the champions. In that game, Dhoni won the prestigious Man of the Match award. Won the most matches as a captain in the history of the world.
In 2011, Dhoni was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army. Mahendra Singh Dhoni on August 15, has announced his retirement from international cricket on 2020.

Personal life
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in Ranchi, Bihar (now in the state of Jharkhand ). Her parents are Pan Singh and Devaki Devi respectively. Dhoni's ancestral home is in the village of Laoli in the Lamgara block of Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand . When Pan Singh was working as a junior manager at Mecon Limited in Ranchi, his family moved to Ranchi from Uttarakhand. Dhoni has one sister (Jayanti).
Dhoni used to have long hair in imitation of his favorite actor John Abraham . He loves bikes. His garage is said to have four cars and 23 high-speed motorcycles. He has participated in advertisements for a total of fifteen brands of cold drinks from clothes. He is currently one of the highest taxpayers in India. Dhoni is adevoted fan of Adam Gilchrist , his childhood favorite cricketer Sachin Tendulkar , Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and vocalist Lata Mangeshkar .
Dhoni studied at DAV Johar Vidya Mandir, Shyamoli (now JVM, Shyamoli, Ranchi). There he competed in badminton and football and was nominated for district and club level games. Dhoni played football as a goalkeeper and later sent his football coach to play cricket at a local cricket club. Although he did not do well in cricket, he was a regular wicket-keeper at the Commando Cricket Club (1995-96) due to his outstanding wicket-keeping skills. As a result of his outstanding skills in club cricket, Vinu won the Mankar Trophy in the Under-16 Championship in the 1996-97 season . 10th class began to catch up with Dhoni cricket match.
On July 4, 2010, Dhoni married witness Rawat. Dhoni, a witness from Kolkata, is currently studying hotel management and got to know each other two years ago while learning to work as an apprentice in Taj Bengal . Type of play
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is best known on the field as a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. Among the junior players, Dhoni is the number one wicketkeeper and the current players in the Indian A team are above Parthiv Patel , Ajay Ratra and Dinesh Karthik . To friends Mahi known as the Bihar team Dhoni made his debut for the 1998-99 season and 004 in the side's visit to Kenya. In junior cricket
Dhoni joined the Bihar Under-19 team in the 1998-99 season and scored 16 runs in 5 matches in 8 innings. The team finished 4th out of 6 teams in the group and could not reach the quarter finals.
In the Bihar team
Dhoni made his Ranji Trophy debut for the Bihar cricket team in the 1999-2000 season at the age of 18 . In his debut match, he scored an unbeaten 6 runs against Assam cricket team. He scored 263 runs in 5 games that season. He scored a century in 1st class cricket in the 2000-01 season against the Bengal cricket team.
In the 2002-03 season, he scored three half-centuries in the Ranji Trophy and two half-centuries in the Deodhar Trophy , scoring runs as a bottom-order batsman instead of batting hard-hitting.
Dhoni scored an unbeaten 126 * in his first match against Assam in the Ranji ODI Trophy in the 2003-04 season. Deodhar scored 244 runs in 4 matches for the East Zone cricket team and played a vital role in winning the trophy.
In the Indian A-team
Following his success, Dhoni toured Zimbabwe and Kenya for the Indian A team in the 2003-04 season. Dhoni made 6 catches and 4 stamps as his best against the Zimbabwe XI at the Harare Sports Club ground. In the tri-nation tournaments between Kenya, India and Pakistan, Dhoni scored a half-century against Pakistan's target of 223 runs. I

Dhoni scored 362 runs in 6 innings in that tournament at an average of 62.40, drawing the attention of the then Indian national team captain Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri . But, the coach of the Indian A team Sandwip Patil recommended Dinesh Karthik for inclusion in the Indian team as a wicket-keeper-cum-batsman.
In IPL or Indian Premier League
M.S. Dhoni is playing for Chennai Super Kings on a 1.5 million contract . As a result, he became the most expensive player in the first season of the IPL compared to Andrew Symonds . Also, Dhoni is the current captain of the Chennai Super Kings team.

In one-day international cricket
In ODI cricket, Dhoni was named as the co-captain of the team in the six-match series against South Africa and later England. On September 2, 2006, Mahendra Singh Dhoni broke the international record set by his favorite star player Adam Gilchrist . Dhoni set a new record by catching 5 England players and stamping one. In the final of the ICC World Twenty20 Trophy held in South Africa on September 24, 2006, they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan.
In this, Dhoni became the second captain of India to have the best success in any level of cricket after Kapil Dev's World Cup victory. On September 30, 2009, Dhoni took his first wicket in ODI cricket. Of the West Indies He showed this achievement by bowling Travis Dowlin . In the second match of the India-Australia series, Dhoni made 124 off just 106 balls.

In 2009, he scored 1198 runs at an average of 80.43 in just 24 matches. That year , Dhoni shared the highest run with Australia captain Ricky Ponting .
In Test cricket
Dhoni's remarkable performance in ODI cricket led to Dinesh Karthik's replacement in Test cricket as the wicket-keeper of the Indian national cricket team against Sri Lanka in December 2005 . Dhoni scored 30 runs in his debut Test match in a rain-affected game. When he landed at the crease, he lost 5 wickets for a run and continued to read wickets, but was dismissed as the last man in the team in his aggressive innings. He scored his first half-century in the 2nd Test and his quick half-century off 51 balls helped India set a target of 436 and the Sri Lankans were all out for 248.
Dhoni scored his first century in the second Test at Faisalabad in January / February 2006 during a tour of Pakistan. The team was 107 runs away from the follow-on when he teamed up with Irfan Pathan . In this situation, he scored a half-century off 34 balls in his usual aggressive innings and scored his first century off just 93 balls.
Dhoni scored two centuries in the 2009 tour of Sri Lanka and India won the three-match series 2-0. As captain
Dhoni led India to the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa in September 2006. In the final and exciting match of the competition, the Indian team became the champions after defeating the Pakistan team with proper leadership.
He then led the team against Australia in September, 2006 in a six-match ODI series.
Anil Kumble, who retired in the 3rd Test against Australia in the 4th and final Test at Nagpur in November 2006, captained the Indian team.
Under Dhoni's leadership, the Indian cricket team was ranked No. 1 in the ICC Test rankings in December 2009. Dhoni was able to level the Test series with South Africa in February 2010 and as a result India was able to retain the top spot in the ICC Test rankings.
On April 2, 2011, Dhoni scored an unbeaten 91 in the ICC Cricket World Cup against Sri Lanka. Sachin Tendulkar praised Dhoni in this regard and said that Dhoni is the best of all captains in his long life in cricket. Ban for two matches

Cricket World Cup, 2011
Under Dhoni's captaincy, India defeated Sri Lanka in the final to win the 2011 Cricket World Cup. In response to Sri Lanka's 264, Dhoni changed the batting order in the Cold War. Retirement from Tests
In December 2014, Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket. He played in his last Test series against hosts Australia in the 2014-15 season. Virat Kohli captained the team in the first Test and then as the regular captain of the team in the second and third Tests. His team lost the second Test and the third Test was drawn. His team is trailing 2-0 in the series before the start of the Sydney Test.
After the third Test in Melbourne, Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket. Assisted 9 outs in the last Test with 8 catches and 1 stamping. As a result, Kumar surpassed Sangakkara's record of 134 stampings in all three categories. He also broke the record for most wickets by an Indian wicket-keeper in a game. Retirement from T20 and One Day International cricket
Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket on August 15, 2020, India's 64th Independence Day, ending many speculations. In a video message on Instagram, Dhoni announced his retirement from international T20 and one-day cricket. Dhoni's retirement has been a topic of discussion among cricket fans and fans since the 2019 World Cup.
