Hina Khan (born 2 October 1987) is an Indian television actress. She played the role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She was included in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List by Eastern Eye in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Khan is one of the highest-earning television actresses. Hina was a contestant in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2017. She finished first runner-up on Big Boss 11 which airs on Colors TV.
Early life
Khan was born on October 2, 1987, in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. Khan completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2009 at CCA School of Management, Gurgaon, Delhi.
Personal life
Khan is dating Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai supervising producer Rocky Jaiswal since 2014. He has confirmed on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 that he has asthma.
Careers
In 2017, she joined Colors TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 as a contestant where she finished as the first runner-up. During his college days in Delhi, Khan auditioned for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai when his friends forced him and were selected for it. She moved to Mumbai and made her television debut in 2009 when she starred in one of India's longest-serving television dramas as Akshara Singhania. After eight years, he left the show in November 2016 to pursue other projects. Her performance in the series received positive critical reviews and also won many awards.
On September 30, he entered Bigg Boss 11 as a celebrity contestant. He is known for his controversial fight with Shilpa Shinde. He is also known for his controversial remarks in events where he cites many comments from Sanjeeda Sheikh, Kishwer Merchant, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Gauhar Khan, and Karan Patel. She was a finalist and first runner-up.
In late February 2018, he finished shooting a Punjabi music video with Sonu Thukral which was released in March 2018. On 31 March, it was announced that he had signed a contract to make his digital debut alongside Ankoosh Bhatt's short film Smartphone opposite Kunaal Roy Kapur.
In July 2018, Hina appeared in Sonu Thukral's Punjabi music video "Bhasoodi". A few months later, she bagged the role of Komolika, the antagonist in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. That same year, he signed his debut film Lines opposite actress Farida Jalaldirected by Hussain Khan and written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh.
On January 2, 2019, he signed another short film Soulmate opposite Vivan Bhatia. The film was directed by Pawan Sharma.
In March 2019, he revealed that he had signed his second film Hacked with director Vikram Bhatt opposite Rohan Shah.
In May 2019, he shot Rahat Kazmi's short film "Wish List" opposite Jitendra Rai. In September, he began shooting for Rahat Kazmi's third film, the Indo-Hollywood film 'The Country of the Blind' as Gosha. In the same month, he signed a psychological crime drama, digital series entitled "Damaged 2".
In January 2020, he signed on to the horror web series ZEE5 opposite Kushal Tandon After appearing in the fourth season as a guest, Khan will also be cast as Nageshvari in the fifth season of Naagin
