The Early life of Pooja Batra
Pooja Batra was born in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India to Army Colonel Ravi Batra and Miss India (1981) Neelam Batra. When She was young, She lived in Ludhiana with his extended family. While at school, She was an athlete and competed in the 200 and 400 meters.
She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Ferguson College, Pune, and an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune. She has two brothers. She became the third runner-up in Miss Asia Pacific in 1993 when she was just 16 years old.
The Career of Pooja Batra
At a young age, she started modeling as a part-time job. She was best known for appearing as a model in Liril soap commercials. She became the first Indian model to be the spokesperson for Head & Shoulders in India. She has participated in more than 250 modeling shows and commercials. She rose to fame after being crowned Miss India Asia-Pacific in 1993. As a result, she became one of the top models in India. She has walked the ramp of more than 250 fashion shows in India and abroad. She is a spokesperson for 'Parag Saree'.
Before concluding a contract with Birasat Film Studios, She turned down many offers to finish his studies. In 1997, She signed on for his first film, Birasat . For his performance in this film, She got the opportunity to act in another popular film called Bhai. She has acted in more than 20 films, including Hasina Man Jayegi , Dil Ne Phir Iyad Kiya, and Kohi Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye. She starred in the historical epic Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story; Which was screened at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. She is from Noida Life member of the Asian Academy of Film and Television, International Film And Television Club.
She has acted in a total of three Malayalam films and two Tamil films, including a special role in the 1995 film Asai. Batra has acted in several stage plays.
She has won the hearts of the audience through his performances all over the country and abroad. His performance has been acclaimed by critics everywhere. She attended the 2009 Academy Awards in Los Angeles, where She met his co-star Anil Kapoor at Birasat .
