Kim Jeong-Ju
Kim Jeong-Ju ( February 22, 1968 – February 27, 2022 ) was a businessman from Seoul, South Korea. He is from Gyeongju Kim. He was born in Seoul to his father, Gyochang Kim (a lawyer, who graduated from Seoul National University Law School), and his mother, Yeonja Lee (who graduated from Seoul National University College of Music).
He completed his BS in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University and MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAIST. During his doctoral course, he founded Nexon, a global online game company, with his university classmate Song Jae-Kyung, and developed the world's longest-running graphic online game Wind Country. Afterward, he served as the CEO of NXC, the holding company of the Nexon Group.
He died at the end of February 2022 in Hawaii, USA.

His spouse is Yoo Jeong-Hyeon (NXC Auditor) and his older brother is Kim Jeong-woo ( Professor of Baduk Department, Myongji University ). His first uncle was Kim Jae- ik, the chief economic officer of the Blue House (1980-1983), and his second uncle was Han Seung-Ju, the 19th ambassador to the US.
