Sidhu Moosawala
Sidhu Moosa Wala or Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu (11 June 1993-29 May 2022), was a Punjabi singer and songwriter. She began her musical career in 2017 with the song "License". This song written by Sidhu was sung by Punjabi singer Ninja. After this, the second song "Uchhiyan Gaal" was written and sung by Sidhu himself.
With this song, Sidhu got a new identity and in a very short time, he earned a different name in the world of Punjabi music.
Birth and Childhood
Shubhdeep was born on June 11, 1993, in the village of Moosa in the Mansa district of Punjab. He belonged to a Sikh family. His father Balkaur Singh served in the army. His mother's name is Charan Kaur who is the Sarpanch of Moosa village.
Sidhu received his early education from Mansa schools. He studied at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, and graduated in 2016. Sidhu was impressed by Tupac Shakur. He started listening to hip-hop music in 6th class and learned musical skills from Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.
After this Sidhu went to Canada for higher education and released his first song "Ji Wagon".
Career
After graduation, Shubhdeep moved to Brampton, Canada. Sidhu started his musical career while living in Canada. She then started singing live in India in 2018. She also did successful live shows in Canada.
In August 2018, he released the Punjabi film " Dakuan Da Munda ". Launched his first movie song "Dollar".
In 2017, Moosawale attracted a lot of attention with his song "So High", which he did with Big Bird Music. Then in 2018, she released her debut album PBX1, which ranked 66th on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart. After this album, he started singing his songs independently.
In 2019, its single track "47" was recorded on the UK singles chart.
In 2020, Moosa Wala was named one of The Guardian's 50 Top Artists. The 10 songs were included in the UK Asian charts, two of which are at the top of the charts. Its song "Bambiha Bole" Global YouTube Music chart was one of the top five songs in In 2021, it released Mustape, whose songs have been featured on several charts worldwide, including the Canadian Hot 100, the UK Asian, and the New Zealand Hot Chart.
Music production
After various successful songs with Humble Music, Musewala started releasing songs independently in 2018. She released the first song, "Warning Shots", which was an attack on Karan Aujla's track "Envelope". That same year, her debut album was released under the PBX1 T-Series, followed by the release of most of her songs along with her own label, as well as tracks from other artists.
In 2020, Musewala released his second studio album Snitches Get Stitches under his own label.
On August 31, 2020, Musewala officially launched its own record label, 5911 Records.
Dispute
From the time of his ascension, Sidhu was embroiled in many controversies. By 2022, Moses was facing four criminal charges. Two of the cases involved pornography.
In May 2020, two videos of moosawale went viral on social media, one showing him training to use an AK-47 with the help of police officers and the other showing him using a personal pistol. Six officers who assisted him were suspended following the incident.
On May 19, a case was registered against him under two sections of the Arms Act. Police launched a search operation to find Moosa Wale, but he escaped to be arrested.
On June 2, The Barnala district court rejected the anticipatory bail pleas of Moosa Wala and five other accused officers. He was fined by the police in Nabha on June 6, 2020, for blackening his car windows. He was granted regular bail in July after a police investigation. That month, he released a single titled "Sanju" comparing himself to actor Sanjay Dutt, who was also arrested under the Arms Act.
Indian sports shooter Avneet Sidhu criticized the song and accused Musewala of promoting gun culture. The next day, a lawsuit was filed against him for releasing the song.
In an interview, Moosa Wala alleged that he was being deliberately targeted by some news channels and lawyers. Released a single named Naam, who was also arrested under the Arms Act.

Acting career
Sidhu Moosawale started his career with a Punjabi film called Yes I Am Student under his own production company Jatt Life Studios. The film was directed by Taranveer Singh Jagpal and written by Gill Route.
In 2019, Moses Wala Teri appeared in My Couple.
In June 2020, he announced another film called 'Gunah'.
On August 22, she released a teaser for her upcoming movie, Moosa Jatt, starring Savitaj Brar and directed by True Makers.
On August 24, he announced his new film Jattan Ka Munda Gaane, directed by Ambardeep Singh, which was scheduled to release on March 18, 2022.
Political career
Moses was also interested in political life. As a result, he fielded his mother Charan Kaur for the Sarpanch vote and actively campaigned.
In December 2018, his mother won the Sarpanch election from Moosa village.
In December 2021, Moosa Wala joined the Congress to contest the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections. With only 20.52% votes from the Mansa constituency, Moosa Wala lost to Aam Aadmi Party's Vijay Singla by a margin of 63,323 votes. During the 2022 elections, a case was registered against Musewala under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code for violating the code of conduct. He had campaigned from house to house in Mansa constituency after the end of his campaign period.
On April 11, 2022, Moosa Wala released a song titled "Sacrifice Goat".
In which he lamented his failure in the 2022 Punjab State Assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed that Moosa Wala had persuaded through his song that the voters of Punjab were "traitors" (translation-traitors) to elect AAP.
He also claimed that Moosa Wala's song maintained the 'anti-Punjab' mentality of the Congress and sought an answer from the party's state unit president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring whether he supported Moosa Wala's views.

Death
On May 29, 2022, Moosa Wala's car was surrounded by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village in Mansa district and he was shot dead. According to police, the killings were caused by gang resentment. According to police, at around 4.30 pm, he left home with his cousin Gurpreet Singh and neighbor Gurwinder Singh.
Moosa Wala was driving his black Mahindra Thar SUV to his aunt Khara Barnala's village a short distance away, and his father was following him in a separate car. When his vehicle reached Jawaharke village, he was stopped by two other cars. The three occupants of the car were injured in the incident. He was rushed to Mansa Civil Hospital.
Moosa Wala was on the list of 424 people whose police protection was a Blue Star massacre was reduced or completely removed a day earlier in preparation for its anniversary, now it has only two commandos as compared to the previous four.
At the time of the incident, Moosa Wala was traveling in his private car with two other people instead of his bulletproof vehicle and the police commando was not with him. Moses was cremated in his own field and a mausoleum has been erected in his memory at his burial site.
