Privacy of Salman Khan

Salman Khan born on December 27, 1965, in Indore ( Madhya Pradesh, India ), is the elder son of the scriptwriter Salim Khan and Sushila Charak; his paternal grandfather is from the Swat Valley of Pakistan.

On a religious level, Salman Khan declares: “I am Hindu and Muslim. My father is Muslim and my mother is Hindu. " In 1999 during the filming of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he began a relationship with Aishwarya Rai which officially ends in 2001, Rai reported later having broken two years ago because of physical, verbal, and emotional. He allegedly broke a bottle of Coca-Cola on the head of a previous partner, actress Jessica Patel. Then, from 2003 to 2010, he had an affair with Katrina Kaif.

In 2013, there was speculation that he was dating a Romanian television personality Iulia Vantur, Salman confirmed that he was in a relationship in 2017.

In 2006, he was sentenced to one year in prison for slaughtering a protected species Chinkara in Rajasthan in 1998. Although enjoying the national status and administrative relations, the mobilization of the Bishnoi people led to their condemnation by the Court. On May 6, 2015, after 13 years of proceedings, Salman Khan is sentenced to five years' imprisonment for murder: On September 28, 2002, while driving under the influence of alcohol, he loses control of his vehicle which skidded on a sidewalk where five homeless sleep.

The career of Salman Khan

Beginnings (1988-1994)

Salman Khan began his career in 1988 in Biwi Ho To Aisi but it was Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), a critical and public success, which propelled him to fame and enabled him to receive the Filmfare Awards for best male hope. Although it continued to rotate at a brisk pace between 1990 and 1993, the audience was no longer to be found apart from Sanam Bewafa (Saawan Kumar Tak, 1991) and Saajan (Lawrence D'Souza, 1991)

Success (1994-2001)

We must wait until 1994 with Hum Aapke Hain Koun ...! so that he can finally return to success.

Indeed, this “wedding comedy” directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya in which he plays alongside Madhuri Dixit, is a huge blockbuster that marks a break in the performance of the Indian box office

The years 1995-1999 were also favorable despite several negative performances. Karan Arjun (Rakesh Roshan, 1995), where he replies to Shahrukh Khan, is a hit 9 and earns him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for best actor.

In 1996 Jeet ( Raj Kanwar ) with Karisma Kapoor did not deny the success of the actor he reaped good reviews in the role of Raju, a man married to a melancholy woman who escapes him [ref. required]. The actor continues his momentum with the comedy Judwaa (David Dhawan, 1998) where he plays a double role for the first time in his career.

But it was not until 1998 with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ( Karan Johar ) that he was truly recognized for his acting skills, which enabled him to receive the Best Supporting Actor award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards.

Salman Khan dominates the box office in 1999 with Biwi No. 1 where he finds David Dhawan and Karisma Kapoor, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam where he gives the reply to Aishwarya Rai for the first time.

Box office failures (2000-2008)

Between 2000 and 2008 the actor experienced setbacks in his career. He has appeared in near films, most of which are commercial and critical failures, however, a few films emerge such as Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega in 2000, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in 2001, Baghban in 2003, and No Entry in 2005.

Return of success (since 2009)

In 2009, we see him in Wanted one of the biggest successes of the year with Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Trois Idiots, but his two following films, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna and London Dreams are commercial failures.

In 2010, we see him in the historic big-budget film, Veer, alongside Zarine Khan, a new actress who has often been compared to Katrina Kaif for her physical resemblance. The film is a box office failure. His second film of the year, Dabangg, hits theaters in September, the day of Eid. The success was not long in coming; it broke the records held by Trois Idiots for the biggest recipes collected on the first day, the first weekend, and the first week. Finally, Dabbang becomes the second film, behind Three Idiots and before Ghajini, which has garnered the most revenue ever in India.

Since 2010 he becomes the presenter of the Bigg Boss show (Hindi version).

Salman Khan in 2009

In 2011, Salman Khan appeared in two films: Ready with Asin directed by Anees Bazmee, and Bodyguard directed by Siddique with Kareena Kapoor. When it was released, despite mixed reviews, Ready placed second behind its previous film Dabangg for having garnered the most revenue on the first day and the first weekend of its exploitation in India.

Internationally, success is also there, especially in the United Kingdom. Bodyguard breaks the record for its previous film, Dabangg, with the highest number of first-day entries in India. Internationally, the film has been successful, notably in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and North America.

With three successive blockbusters, Salman Khan becomes a safe bet and an undisputed star at the box office. Become a very requested star, Salman Khan continues with Ek Tha Tiger, left for Aid, where he plays alongside Katrina Kaif, in a realization of Kabir Khan produced by Yash Raj Films. The other Salman film in 2012 is Dabangg 2 where he plays the main character, the film is directed by his brother Arbaaz Khan, and his partner Sonakshi Sinha remains the main actress but the antagonist is Prakash Raj who replaces Sonu Sood. The film is released on Christmas Day

Other films follow in 2014, Jai Ho, whose success is more modest than that of the previous ones, and Kick alongside Jacqueline Fernandez.

In 2015, with the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan by Kabir Khan, Salman Khan finds himself at the top of the box office. Embodying a simple hero, a fervent admirer of Hanuman, and ready to do anything to help a little Pakistani girl to join her parents on the other side of the border, he revives a good image, following his homicide case. He chained blockbusters with Ek Tha Tiger, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (double role), and Sultan (on the return of a wrestler).

In 2017, he again collaborated with Kabir Khan for the film Tubelight, a remake of the Hollywood film Little Boy, where he played a simple-minded young man alongside Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. This is Om Puri's latest film.
